Lesson 9.2 — Peer Role-Play Rules
Lesson 9.2 — Peer Role-Play Rules
- Do not make the role-player unrealistically difficult just to test the candidate.
- Give cues once naturally. Repeat only if the case brief says to.
- Respond differently when the candidate communicates well; the consultation should feel interactive.
- Feedback observable behaviour, not personality.
- Separate clinical-knowledge feedback from RTO feedback.
- Do not insist on your favourite wording. Judge whether the response achieved the communication function.
