This lesson is a practical workshop that teaches you how to identify the correct framework within seconds of hearing an interview question. The ability to quickly select and deploy the right structure is what separates prepared candidates from unprepared ones.
The Framework Decision Tree
- “Tell me about yourself / Walk us through your CV” → CAMP
- “Tell me about a time when…” / “Describe a situation where…” / “Give an example of…” → STAR
- “Your colleague does X…” / “You witness poor practice…” / ethical dilemma → SPIES
- “A patient presents with…” / “How would you manage…” → A–E + clinical knowledge
- “How would you escalate…” / “How would you hand over…” → SBAR
- “Why this trust / why this role?” → Trust research + CAMP-lite
- “What is clinical governance / audit / teaching?” → Definition + personal example using STAR
Practice Exercise
The lesson includes 20 rapid-fire questions where you pause the video, identify the framework within 5 seconds, and then see the correct answer. This trains the reflexive framework selection that will serve you under pressure on interview day.
